Maurice (my Dad) will be away researching his forthcoming book in Greece from the 5th to the 29th of May. He keeps complaining about the hard work, travelling from island to island by ferry and hydrofoil, staying in foreign hotels, drinking retsina and ouzo….. He is genuinely surprised that he isn’t getting any sympathy!

Big days in Ashthorpe Magna has been selected by its publisher, Pen Press Publishing, to be launched to the press and trade at the London Book Fair on 14th – 16th April. It can be seen on Stand Number X745 at Earls Court 2.

Maurice Abney-Hastings will be visiting on the opening day, Monday 14th, and is very excited as it will be the first time he will have seen the completed book.
